Dear Diary, (September 1999)
Weddings and hot tubs. And lots of work to pay for it all! That describes life recently. Rodger's wedding was beautiful, and we were honored to spend the day before with them. Hopefully, amidst the stress of last minute preparations, we provided a small measure of assistance instead of adding to the pressure. Before we left for Marin, our new hot tub was installed! I have been known to complain about the lack of thunder and lightning in coastal California … not that day! The electrical storm of the century kept us from enjoying our first night in the tub. However, Westi & Michael put it to good use while we were gone. We couldn't bear to part with our old tub; it is being reincarnated into a cold plunge and mini-swimming pool. last • next
